Black locust honey (Acacia)

Black locust honey has a fruity, floral and delicate aroma and pleasant taste. Fresh black locust honey is light in color and very transparent.
Black locust honey is produced by the honey bees that collect nectar from the flowers of the False Acacia or Black Locust tree.

This is the most liquid honey. It doesn’t crystallize for a very long time due to its high fructose content.
In crystallized form black locust (or acacia) honey is milk-white in color and syrup like in texture.

Black locust honey is often used as a general tonic, as well as for insomnia, for treating gastro - intestinal diseases, kidney and gall diseases.
